Think it was down to about 15000 once they got rid of the terraces and bolted a few seats in

Blackpool will be about 16000 once they've built the fourth side, which is on the cards now thet've got some money

will they have it ready for the opening day of next season though?

I didn't think there was a minimum capacity - as long as it's an all seater and there is suitable segregation I thought it was fine...

Apparently they call their uncovered stand the "Gene Kelly Stand" as the fans are often left singing in the rain.

If we didn't have to bl**dy suffer that indignity for so many years, I'd have found that funny.

I think the only difference is, Blackpool is ruddy horrible compared to Brighton, weather wise and only a few hundres metres from the sea.

Season before last, I went up there and our game against them the weather was atrocious. Some of our players said it was the worst conditions they'd ever suffered as a professional.

I don't have sympathy for Premiership fans who will have to endure it though, hopefully they'll see what real football is like.

By real do you mean lesser standard :D

I hope they are not forced to change anything as one of the only weapons clubs have coming up is the ground, Look at Southampton at the Dell

Got it in one :lolol:

Three sides of the ground are basically an identikit stadium. If and when they add the fourth part, they'll lose a big advantage of using the elements to their advantage.

I can't wait to see Ferguson et all complain about it.
