I would have to say even if i`m an EAGLES fan. That in this league it dosn`t matter whether you play shit or not grinding out results like this is a matter of life or death.
Teams are promoted on displays like this look at us last season.
You can look back over a whole season and say that you may of won a game and remember wondering how.

I don`t give a toss what others say,we were great last night and apart from a 20 min spell when they put us under the cosh,we deserved our win and I still say I have seen nothing 2 frighten us yet and if we can only get our home form right then we could be challenging for play-offs,and that would be testimony to our need for a new stadium and the magnificent job Mark McGhee is doing!!!!

i was listening to bbc news this morning and the south today bloke said we scraped a victory so i then proceeded to tell the newsreader to piss off

i always feel there is biased reporting on this channel unless they are talking about reading, southampton or portsmouth even though they are supposed to cover the whole region including brighton.

i thought the commentary was good last night and i am so pleased for us that we got that win last night.

I couldn't tune in to Five on the way home from the match so had to listen to Radio Trent. They sounded depressed and said they should have beaten us as they were at home. I don't care if they think of us like that as we always prove people wrong under estimate us at your peril!!!! Great result job done....next!!

We were fortunate to win the game in the end. The second half seemed to go on forever as there were wave after wave of attacks on our goal. At one point it took us 10 minutes to get out of our half. However, that's what could be expected as we did play much better than them in the first half and but for Cullip's missed header just before half time we would have gone in 2-0 ahead. If that had gone in I think we would have had a far less hair-raising second half.

The defending in the second half was truly magnificent and that is what won us the game. A couple of seasons ago we would have wilted but this season we seem to be made of strong stuff away from home. Long may it continue!
