I spent all of Saturday supporting David. I arrived at 8.30am - 15 minutes before he was woken up by some rude people screaming at him. Bastards!Manon said he hasn't been sleeping coz people are too loud Some idiot wrote into a newspaper that he'll be throwing sausages at David, soI gave the paper to security as soon as I arrived. Sure enough, someone did throw sausages later in the day, so they lifted the box higher and moved the barriers way back, so we can't get that close anymore But they shouldn't be able to reach the box with their eggs now. I wore stars and stripes again, so David must have recognised me coz when he woke up he waved at me first, not the other way around It was hot and David was only half dressed, which made a lot of the women there happy. I didn't shout anything to David during the day, except for when I offered to clean the box, coz he looked pissed off I showed him some signs I made - 'there's nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer', 'the star of David' ( he is of Jewish descent) and 'sending you hope and hugs'. I also showed him a bigger than usual playing card ( an ace) and 'recruted' some people to parade the flag and saluted him. Some journalists came up to me and I told them that he's my hero and generally good stuff about him. Some stupid tabloid paper brought a barbeque and tried to get me to hold up food and smile for the camera and I was like ' No. That's sick'. They took a picture of me without my informed consent, so I said if they use it, I'll sue them. They called me emotionaly unstable coz I was crying coz of what they were doing to David. Fuckwits. At the end of the day I asked ( well, with signs) David if he thinks I'm crazy. He didn't wanna answer it at first, but I asked again. He smiled and nodded. LMAO! Maybe that's coz I spent the whole day there . Then I asked him if he wanted me to leave and shook his head.
Hmm. Saw him in his box last Saturday as I drove over Tower Bridge towards Clapham. I was in London anyway to go to Twickenham before you get any ideas that I went to London to see the freak. Has to be said I don't really agree with the mental torture the public are giving him. If you don't like what he is doing ignore him.
Has to be said I was disappointed he wasn't actually suspended from the bridge, that would have made things a bit more interesting. Anyway, had a look, saw the freak, thought to myself wierdo i couldn't do that, and haven't given it much thought since. Couldn't be arsed to throw stuff at him, dunno why people are bothering.
