The Manchester is on the front, but its on the junction with Lytham Road. As you come into Blackpool from the M55 you either go into the big car park, or up to a junction near the football ground. Turn left at the lights & then right at the next set & you are on Lytham Road.

its a decent pub for football fans, i've been there on quite a few weekenders and the manchester before kick off is pretty good.

Well, The Manchester was the worst example of a pub I have been in for some time. Paid on the door (well El Pres paid for us), for crap atmosphere, crap beer (had to drink the Guinness), expensive beer (El Pres again), and no football on the TV.

We only stayed for one.

The next pub, the Old Bridge) was a lot better (apart from the beer, had to drink Guinness again).

We need more places like the Crown in Stockport, proper pub with a decent pint of bitter.

I see I am going to have to be more specific in future with a thread title along the lines of -----

"Where are the old farts who want an old fashioned pub with a decent pint of bitter going to meet up before the game".
