Yes I do find it funny Blackburn brought the Premiership with hoofball so what goes around comes around but I also feel sorry for the fans they have been shafted royally by the total incompetency and money focus of the rulers of football in this country. However I think the comparison with ourselves fails because the fans don't appear to be doing anything about whilst watching their club go down the drain, to get the backing of other fans they need to take more action direct and indirect.
On the Venkys they are an odious collection of parasites who could not manage their way out of a paper bag, having worked with Indian companies they have no idea how to run a company their communication is woeful. The fans need to take action now to avoid becoming the next Pompey.

Are you kidding ?

The Blackburn fans mounted a prolongued campaign against Steve Kean and the Venkys - their apparently "disgusting" treatment of Kean drew widespread criticism from the media and other fans, who'd lazily concluded that the Venkys puppet cut a dignifed figure in the dugout. He didn't. He was part of the problem. Those fans have been royally shafted, and if it was happening to my club, I'd have reacted in exactly the same way towards Kean and those joke owners. I do feel genuinely sorry for them through all this, because BRFC has been made into a laughing stock now.

As for "buying" the Premiership, personally I was delighted when they won it. Its tremendous to have a club of that size come from nowhere to ruffle the feathers of the established order. Yes it took a hugely wealthy individual to bankroll it, but lets not start casting THOSE stones around in our own glass house eh ? Anyway, once FFP comes in, that will permanently cement the current set of clubs at the top of each League, removing any last chance of a well-backed interloper coming up from the doldrums to challenge the top order, like a Blackburn or a Man City. Job done, self-interest rules. As usual.

I can't work out if that is a joke or not. If it is, it's quite funny. If it isn't, it's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on here.

Thanks for the review, I hope you had a stiff drink after that pinch of salt.

I'm grossly mis-informed on the in depth situation over at Blackburn - who I do feel sorry for - but how was Kean part of the problem? Just because he was a shite manager?

The Venky's football advisor was one Jerome Anderson who also just happened to be Steve Kean's agent. Kean's first signing was Anderson's son whose football career by the age of 22 included no appearances for Leyton Orient and a brief 2 minute sub appearance for Aberdeen. Kean called him a late developer. Also there is the question of Kean's involvement in Alladyce's sacking where by all accounts he was part of the backstabbing process that enabled him to replace Fat Sam as manager.

Actually going for Kean was the right move, as he was obviously Venky's stooge. Seem to recall Steve Gritt getting a few boos in his early days because people thought he was a stooge for Archer and Bellotti, thankfully for us it did not turn out that way unfortunately for Blackburn it did with Kean, and unlike Gritt, Kean was a coach who was nowhere near management material.

There is also a struggle going on between Venkys and the remaining board members who are based in this country. From what I can gather Appleton was taken on without Venky's input but was then sacked by them.

Blackburn caretaker manager Gary Bowyer is likely to miss two days' training this week after being summoned to India for a meeting with owners Venky's.
Managing director Derek Shaw and operations director Paul Agnew have also flown out, while global advisor Shebby Singh is already in India.

It's like video conferencing had never been invented

Brought the league from where, and to where?

I assume you mean BOUGHT.

Why do so many people make this mistake? Do you (and they) genuinely think brought is the past participle of buy?

Well your sentence structuring could do with a bit of work.

Also, your lack of capital letters needs addressing.
