Dalglish flatters to deceive. All his success as a manager has followed either hard work by other managers (first stint at Liverpool) or pots of cash (Blackburn). Everywhere else he has failed.

I actually lay the decline of Liverpool as a footballing force at his door. Controversial I'm sure, but the signs were there when he left them the first time.
