Blackburn do NOT like the idea of being in this division for long

Shit or bust for them this season isn't it? If they don't make it straight back up - which I'd say is by no means certain given what a liability Kean may be, not ot mention their wacko owners - they'll probably disintegrate.

If they do not like this Division, I am happy for them to go down.

Correct. I hope they fail MISERABLY but I just cant see it.

Here is a short list of players they currently have, though i'm sure Robinson will move on because he is MINT.

Robinson
Olsson
Givet
Dunn
Formica
Pedersen
Nzonzi (he SURELY will leave)
Scott Dann
Olsson 2
Goodwillie(who i think would be good in this division)
G. Hanley (very promising)
J. Lowe (again, promising)
Etuhu
Murphy
Nuno Gomes

Thats GOOD isn't it. Yes they were relegated, but all those players should be of quality in this divison.

With the parachute payment, they can try to spend their way back up. Not sure if a manager that has presided over a demotion is likely to be much kop at a promotion push ???

It might not be.

Blackburn Rovers facing their nightmare scenario | David Conn | Football | The Guardian
Barclays, though, has told the Guardian that Rovers' overdraft and loans have been fully paid off, suggesting strongly that the club's owners put at least the £10m in.

The accounts, for the year to 30 June 2011, were signed off by KPMG on 20 December, in fact the day before Hunt's letter. They show that Venky's had injected real money into Rovers, much more than the Walker trustees had annually in their latter ownership. On top of the £23m paid to the Walker trustees to buy the club, Venky's paid off £10m of club debt when it took over. In the year to 30 June 2011 a further £5m interest-free loan was paid in. Assuming Venky's then paid off the £10m, at least, which Barclays was chasing, the Indian poultry company has pumped at least £25m into Rovers.

With increased parachute payments of £48m over four years, clauses which reduce players' wages on relegation, and some coveted performers, notably Junior Hoilett, who could be sold, Rovers look financially quite able to withstand relegation and, even if crowds plummet, very unlikely to fall into administration.

I know some fans have shown scepticism over this, some suggesting the "investment" was from the sale of a player, but surely that doesn't change the fact that the club is financially stable enough to survive the drop, whether the debts were paid from player sales or from the pocket of the venkys.

Er he was close to signing and will be leaving Blackburn. So :lolol: to you

He was close to signing? Nobody told Sky, who haven't reported it at any point over the summer. The only Robinson based story was his gaffe which saw them lose 1-0 to someone crappy. I've seen this "Robinson to Turkey" stuff atleast 3 times on this site this summer, but it's not been mentioned anywhere else I can see. I just find it odd it keeps resurfacing.
