ive got a curve. It reboots itself at inconvenient times, but apart from that its possibly the best bit of kit i have ever had. very impressed with it.

I'm contemplating a Blackberry Bold but have a question for anyone who cares to help...can I get my personal email through the handset without having to change my account with vodafone?

at work they have this bes server thing to route the emails - thought I'd have to have access to some such thing through vodafone...but it appears not!

Same here, I set mine up using the e-mail setup which appears when you first turn the device on, and it's worked flawlessly ever since.

I cannot recommend the BlackBerry Curve 8900 highly enough on what I've seen so far.

its my personal one on my personal account (not my work emails - they can stay at bloody work!!)

I was just unsure as they have a bes server at work but thats probably to divert emails from the outlook accounts...

Personal emails are easy to set up, the phone does it step by step, I have a bold and was just a case of...enter email address.... enter...done
