There are plenty of weird and wonderful things going on at Ninian Park these days, entertaining football being one - something we haven't witnessed in this neck of the woods for many a long year!

I thought about 10th would be their place this year.
Maybe they will do a "Reading"!

With a bit of luck, we'll simply 'do' Reading on Tuesday night!

Two visits to the Madejski Stadium for the Bluebirds so far. Two victories. More of the same this week I hope.......

Cardiff are certainly looking strong with the likes of Thorne, Kavanagh, Earnshaw and Robinson etc.

They're all playing well. Kavanagh in particular is in his element. But I tell you what, Robinson has been in incredible form. He never stops working, and his link play with the front-runners is absolutely top class.

He also makes a point of doing a personal lap of the pitch after the final whistle at every game (including our defeat against Bradford). That's going down very well with the locals.

A Ninian Park legend in the making, no doubt about it. Thank God he didn't sign for your lot in the summer!

No need to rub it in quite so much TLB! It was a shame we couldn’t get him, and by what you say about his link up play with the forwards, with the way we are playing at present we really need a player like that.

It is also good when players recognise the fans. And it is good to see that Cullip is always one of the last players to leave the pitch as he applauds both stands (Withdean doesn’t quite need a lap of the pitch unfortunately!).

There has now been some sort of clarification from the FA on their official website over this strange incident.

Apparently, Hessenthaler was banished from the dugout by the referee for committing what the FA is describing as a 'technical offence', the offence being that he had left his technical coaching area on a number of occasions despite being warned by the fourth official not to do so.

The FA reckon that as he was 'sent off' for a 'technical offence', he was entitled to return to the game as a substitute. They say that if he had been 'sent off' for a more serious offence such as violent conduct or abusive language, then he wouldn't have been allowed to take part in the game as a player.

The mind boggles. Personally, I reckon the FA are making up the rules as they go along! Still, as it happens we stuffed Gillingham 5-0 and Hessenthaler was a liabilty from the moment he reappeared as a sub, so it didn't really matter!

I have CCFC to win Div 1 on the handicap, which gives them an extra 20+ points this season. Looking good:p

Steady on El Pres, don't get too excited - one or two more injuries or suspensions and we'll be knackered!

I've watched our reserves get heavily beaten at home by Bristol City and Swansea City's youth teams in recent weeks. Strength in depth is something we are seriously lacking.

Our first eleven will give anyone in the First Division a game. However, take out three or four and we'll do about as well as Wales did in Italy!

We're having plenty of fun at the moment though, no doubt that that. And Earnie is on fire.
