you speak to someone 'trained' in another part of town / country / world??, and then the apparantly proper order then gets relayed back to the shop?!

er, why not just train the staff who are actually IN the shop??

I need to get a consultncy job at McD's - more money then sense!

:dunce:

Similar happens over here with pizza. Last year I ordered one over the phone and the call centre sent it to Ottawa, which is five hours away. Needless to say it was late and I didn't have to pay.

I'm now going to do someone out of job completely by ordering a Dominos Pizza ONLINE!!

I've got a better idea, why bother with crap food like burgers and pizza anyway ? Buy something that you can nuke and stay healthy (and save money).

This trend towards outsourcing to India could could have worrying consequences.

Picture this: India and Pakistan fall out big time, Karachi launches a nuclear attack and destroys Mumbai. Not only will our financial services and utilities industries collapse, we will actually have to get out of our cars and walk to the checkout to order a Big Tasty.

famoues moeordering online with famous moes pizza, afaik,
is deal with in the UK - orders get relayed via the server to local store tha you slect, via postcode. if credit card server is down, your details gets inclided with order to the store.

any 'funny' business soon shows up, as till would not balance - very high tec system they have now.. too much tech, sometimes!
