Birthday dilema.....

ok, i know its my mates birthday in april- but im not sure of the date, ive known this guy years so i really should remember! i cant really ask him as then i look like a bit of a !!!!!

ive tried mutual friends- no joy!

how do i put it to him without looking like a git?

If he's a good mate, he'll understand if you're honest and just say you've forgotten.

Suggest going for a meal and ask him when he's free. From there say, 'Well, what about your birthday ? Which day of the week is that ?'

Blokes are allowed to forget each other's birthdays. Most of my mate struggle to remember and I struggle to remember exactly when theirs are. No one seems to mind that much.

I have to ask every one the date of birthdays, your a bloke your not meant to remember these things. Just ask him i'm sure he won't know when yours is any way!!
