More good news for Blues today with funding secured for the tram extension to the new stadium, connecting with the HS2 station.

Other than Wrexham, who have an excellent manager & American "Hollywood" funding, this is a very bold statement, is it not?

Interesting to see if Deadpool goes for promotion and for how long. Can they weather losing £20-30m a season like we were in the championship.
Back to Brum a destined to fail piece by the chairman I particularly liked his excellent manager comment. They are all excellent until they fail at a higher level.

Isn't that a bit like being wired up for Betamax?
Well their plan is that with a 62,000 stadium and a 15/20,000 indoor venue, HS2 brings London’s population to within little more than 1 hour travelling time, so a massive potential upside to their reach (for other events in particular) if that all works out.

Well he knows it’s a bold statement but that’s partly why he’s making it. He has done a great job there so far and is loved by all the fans, rescuing them from hated owners and building a stadium for the future. Sounds familiar ……

That is truly a story conceived among Hollywood's best writers. Actor making multiple millions of $ buys down trodden football/soccer club in Wales and finances it to the brink of financial disaster before they break through to the Premier League and win a coveted CLUB WORLD CUP in a brand new stadium in the Actor's favourite city of Vegas. (Americans don't know the difference between a Club World Cup and the PL Cup)

I want to hate yet another American owner but I can't help but quite like Wagner. He has an ambitious vision but seems to get what a club means to its fans.

They've got some wrongun fans but I think Birmingham have huge potential and it's a city that would definitely benefit from some investment.
