As far as Crodo threads go....the punchline seems very weak.

I was uploading my VHS tapes last night and most had Endsleigh Insurance League Extra on. That brilliant programme in the mid-nineties that had all the goals from the weekend, but it was broadcast in the early hours of Tuesday morning! It was very well presented by Gabriel Clarke but had a HUGE bias towards Birmingham City. Barry Fry being the manager and his legendary tales being the main reason I presume.

However, they did feature Brighton's problems in a few of 1996/97. The Mansfield home match (November 1996) with the stay-away protest before breaking into the ground amongst a few more. Oh, and that unforgettable 4-4 draw with Leyton Orient. What an afternoon that was!

Three wins in a week and only two points off a play off spot, perhaps the sleeping giant is awakening once more.

Along with six other clubs some who are just one off….the previous seven yielded only two points with five defeats and two draws…a tad inconsistent

A poor run and no Blues fans calling for the owners heads, not helped by an emphatic reverse at Fulham last night. Seems they are not happy the sleeping giant is very much still in a deep comatose.

It doesn't seem to be getting much better for 'the blues' as they are affectionately know. Fan protests at the owners, more than a hundred at the last game gathered angrily outside the club entrance demanding the return of the club to its rightful owners.

Started the week with 5 fit defenders of which 2 are now out for a month. They are as close the the relegation points as the play offs but I suspect they are not looking up.

The natives are very restless as you say, the owners seem to be asset stripping the club. There was something recently where in the accounts in the last year they spent £300 on stadium maintenance (yes, £300 not £300k!), made a loss on the ground share with Coventry (how is that even possible?) yet spent £180k on security for one of the absent owners that was all charged to the club. They make Stanley, Bellotti and Archer seem almost angelic by comparison.
