How many times do you think we have ever bid >£1.8m for any player? Ulloa/CMS/Clayton all I can think of.
No value to the club wasting time on an offer if its going nowhere. Certainly doesn't make the fans any happier.
I am still impressed we are offering that kind of money given our stinginess!
