Listening to one of Tony Blair's speeches.

Yesterday at Congress, he was speaking about the War on (oops I mean "in") Iraq, he called on the USA to "listen as well as lead".

Yeah Tone, like you did with your own electorate - ignoring the wishes of the 67% who didn't want our troops in Iraq.

So what is the biggest waste of time in the world then?

The idiot clients who phone me up at work (I'm in the civil service).

Then again, if it wasn't for those deadbeats I'd be out of the job.

Ditto that. Are you in the CSMA?

Agree with Simster about NHS Direct. Excellent concept, just a shame it's so f***ing badly run.

No, what are the CMSA? I am in an Australian government department, so it is slightly different from the UK. I've been in the civil service for just over a year now, and I never thought I'd think this when I first started but I've come to the conclusion that the general public are scumbags and stupid beyond belief. They need to be saved from themselves. People here accuse civil servants of having this "us against them" attitude with the public, but once you're in it it is very easy to see how this occurs. Still, if the public were intelligent and could think for themselves, I'd be on the unemployment queue hassling some poor public servant in Social Security...

Totally agree with telephone games - I've never ever been tempted to play them as they're total bollocks.

But you're looking for a kicking if you're counting PES (or even FIFA) in the list of waste-of-time computer games.
