Sadly, there's one very stubborn man that doesn't think so...

Did you not listen to anything Poyet said during the window? He was looking for a target man but there aren't a great deal who could also play our style and don't cost a ridiculous amount of money..

Is that the same style that is not currently working?... Here's an idea, it's a bit rad (excuse the pun)... CHANGE IT!!!

Can someone explain to a simpleton like me why so many people are calling for a "Big Target Man" when our style is to keep the ball on the floor? Are we actually yearning to play hoofball now?

Not at all, BUT, when needs must there has to be a plan B when the only plan the manager has is not working... Recent games for example, now we've been found out and it's become all so easy for teams to get points from us.

I do not think we simply need a "big target man" as such. We need an out and out striker who can lead the line. Because they are being asked to undertake the role, they are likely to be strong, and tall enough to challenge in the air, but I for one do not want to see some lump like Heskey. Someone Like Bobby Zamora would be perfect.

The last 20 minutes was just crying out for a lighthouse yesterday, just someone to get their head on the bloody ball in their box.

Someone needs to tell Spanish Dave .. he was lobbing in perfect crosses in the first half yesterday ... great practice for their CB's

We need a goal poaching Billy Big Bollocks bad-ass striker with an attitude problem and a hint of nastiness. All our current strikers are prim and proper, hard-working team players.

Finishing was the issue yesterday, not aerial strength.
