Did he work out that shortlist all by himself? Well done to him, I wouldn't have been able to have guessed at those teams, I was thinking Bolton, or maybe Reading :dunce:

A Premier League giant would be wonderful and guarantee a sell out audience.

I sem to remmember the Manchester City Chairman (?) saying, after our win aginst the in the League Cup that instead of donating the money they earnt from the game, they would play us at the opening of Falmer.

Peter Ward told me they were trying to get Man U...

At the risk of being flamed, I would much rather we had a top continental side.

Sporting Lisbon, Benfica, etc.

Can you imagine how many Sussex-based Man U fans will try and get tickets? It'll be a nightmare.

Whoever we play it'll sell out. I just hope it's predominantly Albion fans.

The focus, for that day, has to be the Albion and Michel, not a 'giant'.

Or Doncaster or Wrexham.

That would be great. We could get scarves and everything.

Agree about the tickets thing mate yes. Hopefully it will just be people on Albion database first for tix - saying that this would be good but the first lg game is the first proper match at Falmer - as long as i'm there for that one i'm happy!

I would love it if it was Man United, at a push Chelsea, just so that we can have simply the best English football has to offer gracing our new stadium. We all heard it would be Man City after the league cup, but that was a few managers ago, would the current management team (or even the team that will be in place after Mancini has failed to get them to win the EPL) really be interested in coming to us?

Why not a team that Kuipers was actually in goal for us for?

So Man City or Villa?

Problem with Manure or Chelsea is that he was probably still in uniform the last time we played them. So not really that relevant.

Pretty sure the Kuipers testomonial is going to be the first friendly and the manure/chelsea the last.
