I heard a bit of a strange story on the coach to shrewsbury which at the time i had no reason to disbelieve,it goes a little like this,Frank worthington was once booked b4 the ko at the goldstone for what the ref deemed a offensive weapon,apparently as brighton were about to ko frank pulled a comb from his sock and asked the ref to take care of it,the ref refusing frank slicked back the thinning locks! Now good a story as it sounds ive not heard of this b4 and certainly cant find anything about it via the usual routes,so have i been the victim of blatant bullshytery or was it true?
