Fair play - to end a 3 year unbeaten run is a great effort.

I hope the guys had a great time and enjoyed the experience. Shame they went out but they did better in their first Champions League adventure than many other teams.

To win 3 and lose 1 and go out is crazy and by no means anything other than a massive success

Thanks to everyone who donated and supported our team in the European Cup finals

Here's a quick run down of how it went down..........

On Monday we won 3-1 against the Danish side Aarhus. (previous Danish Champions)

Tuesday we lost 0-1 to West Brom, but bounced back well to beat the Irish Champions, Midlands United 3-0.

We went into our final game on Wednesday morning knowing we had to beat the French Champions Auch by at least 4 goals to make the semifinals.
We knew this was going to be difficult as they had previously beaten West Brom 7-1.
A hard fought game where we played passing football against a very aggressive French style. We won the game 3-2 but missed out on progressing from the group only on goal difference.

The Cup was finally won by Auch and we were the only team in the competition to beat them, a side previously unbeaten in 3 years, conceding no goals from open play.

We are very proud of our achievement at our first European Cup and also proud in beating the French Champions, Irish Champions and English Champions in recent games

You should be proud. You're a credit to the club.

Well done to all involved. Hopefully you will get to tell everyone about your achievements at a home game soon - preferably the Villa one where you might even pick up some TV coverage.

Delighted to say we have now received AITC's £2,500 donation as well as another very generous donation from a NSC member. Muscular Distrophy UK also kindly donated £2500.

We'd like to say thank you to everyone who made our trip to Denmark possible. We couldn't have done it without you! #bhafc #Together
