The thread for Saturday's home game against Derby has started a little early this week (am away for a few days). BHA 9th meet Derby (10th) at The Amex with both sides locked on 37 points & the Seagulls with a game in hand. Win and we could climb as high as 6th. Lose & we could drop down to 14th.
After 26 league games last season, Albion were 12th and on 38 points, so a win is needed to keep ahead of target.
With only home wins against the current bottom 4 teams in the league, the Seagulls will need to pull their socks up to claim the scalp of Derby. However the Rams are only ahead of Leeds in their last 6 away matches, with only 1 win on the road in the past 6 away games.
Derby have the edge over Albion. 15 wins to the Rams, 12 to the Seagulls & 4 draws. Though in recent times, BHA have come out on top. Only one defeat in the last 6 matches between the teams.
