My wife worked at the Ovingdean home for nearly 20 years, and she said that the building had become too big for the number of residents.I could have guessed luxury flats. I hope the former residents have moved into suitable new accommodation.
The aim of the charity had changed and was more focused on helping blinded ex-service personnel to live independently.
