First of all apologies if this is obvious but I am fairly new to betting and may have missed something obvious. Also I know the stake is small but I was trying it out. :lolol:

What is the point in doing a 10 fold accumulator if you have bet on 12 teams (as one example). My stake had been 66p, 1p on 66 bets, but when Germany drew the maximum I could then win was about 30p when it had been about £3. So what exactly is the point? I appreciate if you were betting more then you could save yourself a bit of money, but is that really worth the smaller odds?

Once again I am sorry if I am being an idiot.

Nothing wrong with small stakes, I'm not sure I understand your question though.
Bookies love multiples - if you do a Yankee (11 bets) and the first one loses then you've already lost 7 bets.
Also the overround is compunded with each selection, so better for the bookie, worse for the punter.

You say that 8ace, but the pure joy of landing a £25 ew double or a tenner patent seems to somehow outweigh the bitter taste of a losing slip.

I'm not totally against multiples, I don't mind an acca on the football or an e/w double to cover the win singles on the horses.
I was just trying to explain to the OP how easily the majority of his tenfolds would become losing bets.

The reason bhamex1901 wasn't able to cover his losses was because the odds of all his selections were too short.

If it was me betting I'd have put the whole 66p on the 12 fold :moo:
