Andorra 66/1
Draw 15/2
England 1/100

I am backing Andorra to win at 66/1 and 2-1 at 100/1. England are so utter toilet I can see us losing tonight.

4-0 or 5-0 England is the bookie's prediction.

No, sorry, England are NOT that bad. What is it with the bi-polar nature of most fans? The 2006 World Cup side wasn't the 'greatest England team since 1970' and the current side (which is basically the same players!) is not so shit it will struggle against Andorra.

Like other managers before him (Hoddle in 98 and Robson in 86) he may find the team he is forced to play is better than the one he would have picked.

Ok so I was wrong ...

Here's a new angle - I blame the fans. The England 'supporters' there last night were a disgrace. Can you imagine what the reaction would be if we 'supported' the team like that at Withdean?

I was listening to the second half on the radio. It all sounded great fun. Do you think it is a reflection of the gulf between the fans and players - in financial and life-style terms - or just the apparent pleasure in kicking someone when they are down.

I don't know. But I am proposing that the reason for our players under-performing is fear. Especially in the first half they always took the easy options, everything was safety-first and you just had the feeling that they were all thinking "well if I don't make a mistake then no one can have a go at me."

Fair play to McClaren for getting the substitutions right, something that Sven never did.

PS - compared to the 1st in the 2nd half the fans were quite supportive!

If the wage bill for the Albion was the same as the players on the pitch last night and we were 0-0 after 45 minutes against the Hare & Hound. I'd probably be on the pitch!
