We've had 5 meet ups I think? The Lord Nelson, The Prince Albert, The King and Queen and twice at the greyhounds. Where's the best place to meet?

Well we are banned from holding them at The Nelson, I don't think The Albert were best pleased with us, the Greyhound nights weren't NSC meet ups, and obviously we are not going to pay to hire the Standard.

The King & Queen seemed fine though.

Where do your pictures come out best?

Maybe not pay to hire the Standard but everyone seems to go there anyway!

Okay, I had an idea... why not go to the Babylon Lounge on Hove seafront?

I checked prices...they charge £250 for a Saturday night hire and would easily be able to accommodate 120-150 people! Security and bar staff are included. There is a drinks licence until 2am. There is also a DJ box, they can provide a DJ for about £150 but maybe we could invite wannabe NSC people to be a guest DJ and provide the music?

Okay it's a bit out of the way but it's on a bus route and there's easy parking if necessary.

Why pay £250 when we can hire a room in a pub for free?

Pubs also kick us out at 11. Didn't realise the room hire was free, okay fair enough, King and Queen it is then.

If we paid £250 for a venue and a good few people leave at 11 we will be left with a half empty venue with no atmosphere.

Remember when you went to The Honey Club on Christmas Eve and there were only 8 of you there....

The Greenhouse Effect holds 110 downstairs and costs £175 to hire. There is a stage and space for a DJ or a band. They also have a licence until 2am.

Those that want music etc can move onto a club of their choice at closing.

People would have no reason to leave though as the place won't be kicking them out at 11. Obviously the King and Queen is near the Gloucester which is cool but being able to have our own DJ might be fun.

Any wannabe DJs who fancy playing some of their stuff? Or we could ask Dan Doubledecks very nicely!

A club with a few drunken NSC'ers isn't going to be as good as a club with normal people in.

There will be hardly any girls for a start...

Maybe, but the idea is to have the meet-up on a Saturday night? Or shall we go for midweek or Friday??

Midweek would be good, but many places are student only.

On a slight tangent; I heard at uni that due to complaints, The Honey Club is going to have a strict no tolerance policy on all non-students on SportsFed night, Wednesday.

I am yet to make it to a meet up, so Iam not fussed where it is as long as it is on a date that I am not actually doing anything!
My place?

Won't affect me.

Just checked with the King and Queen, they think they're booked solid in July but are getting back to me.

I think july will be to short notice, also brighton have got 2 pre-season friendly's aswell as the euro 2004 final. It would probabily be better to have the meet up once the season has started.
