I once had the great privilege of selecting something to be played at Withdean.

OK. I had the choice of Attila's collection, or nothing. But I'm sure I'm not the only Mott the Hoople fan.

I thought about flogging my copy of 'Rock 'N Roll Queen' 45, but although it goes for a lot, it's just too good to let go of.
'Thunderbuck Ram' and 'One Of The Boys' are top stuff too!

A mention of Mott the Hoople has made my day. Still get a tear in my eye when I hear Saturday Gigs. They would have been the first group i'd seen had it not been for Hunter in hosp Jan 74 or was it Jan 75. Thunderbuck Ram, great song - i really do need to get a stylus replacement for that and Jerkin Crocus which seems to have been copied (not covered) by a few bands since.
