I've had mixed experience there - last time I went was last summer the beurre blanc was split, the fish overcooked and the Chablis warm. Previous visits had been fine but the ensuing argument has made me wary of returning

Harsh!!! :lolol:

Yes, it may be easy on the wallet, but I can't think of a better Chinese than that place. The Satay Chicken is to die for and the teppenyaki (however you spell it...) bar is different class!!

The Ganges and Ashoka in Hove are also QUALLA establishments

It's a good laugh and the food is ok, but last time I went there was for a mate birthday and I had four shits in the honeyclub afterwards

Hate Havana's. Hotel du Vin is awesome, as is La Veramente on Church Road.

For Italian, try Otello's on Church Road.

For Japenese, Saporo on Preston Street takes some beating

Gars in the Lanes for a chink.
The Elizabethan in Patcham for an Indian.
Dig in the Ribs in Preston St for Tex Mex

All Italians are shit.
