Kid Jensen is the least contentious of that lot.

Other than that, I couldn't think of a bigger collection of ****s that this lot.

**** 1. DLT. f*** off and die you self-important nobcheese. You are the only pilchard.

**** 2. Jimmy Saville. Words fail me. Tory traitor.

Twat 1: Peter 'hello, mate' Powell. Don't get me started with him.

Ponce 1: Diddy David. Founder member of Anonymous Anonymous.

Nobend 1: Gary Davis. Although in fairness, he was a decent DJ in Manchester, and he was stitched up by Radio 1 when he joined for his 'young, free and single' tag. Didn't do anything to shake it off though. Nobend.

Nobend 2: Simon Bates. For Our Tune , read 'Suicide Bit'. Mawkish bordering on puke-inducing.

Penis 1: Steve Wright. Loved his show when I was 12, Mr Angry, The Bossman, Gervaise etc. But that's the point - every f***ing show has been the same since 1981.

The only ones I could listen to were John Peel and Andy Peebles. f*** the rest of them, especially Noel Edmonds.

There. I've finished now.

Where the hell is Sir John Peel and whispering Bob Harris?

Glad to see you left off Tony Logs Blackburn, the Emperor Roscoe and Johnny Walker

I think you have just about nailed it there TLO.

John Peel rules, by far the best and still is.

I think you summed it up very neatly large one!!

Did (almost) like Simon Mayo when he did the Breakfast Show in the late 1980s. Also Steve Lamaq and Jo Wiley with the Evening Session in the mid 90s.

And an honourable mention must got to Annie Nightingale for her Sunday afternoon show in the late 70s. She was an Albion fan and would often refer to the previous day's match.

May i just say Radio 1 is Shit now!,

all the DJ'S apart from Steve Lamaq and Mark and Lard are Wankers!

Mark and Lard do not want to play most of the types of music Radio 1 makes them play.

Sara Cox! ,rambles on about Shit

Chris moyles (face for radio) so un-funny is funny!

plus most of the music is dance shit!

stopped listening to radio 1 about 3 years ago, mind you I sometimes tune into the Evening session on a monday night

Nice to read all these message on the Radio 1 Appreciation Society thread.

RADIO 2 RULES!!! Mark Lamarr, Jonathan Woss and Stuart Maconie (especially his recent allnight Northern Soul special) are just class.

And Terry Wogan in the morning.

If you have digital radio, 6music is also pretty good most of the time.

Personal pet-hate was Mike Read - away and change Sir Cliff's colostomy bag you self-important, moral majority, Tim Rice-loving ****.

Marconie = genius for the Northern Soul series.

Would go for Mark and Lard with Radio 2 playlist.

Late night with NIcky Campbell was OK late 80s = cock now.

Sunday Night Annie Nightingale was great for last minute homework.

Keep the Faith
