Best Mate has been pulled out of the Gold Cup due to breaking a blood vessel this morning

That leaves the race wide open and my banker of the meeting gone

There's a horse called Beef and Salmon or something like that that I like the look of. Wish I'd taken the price on it last week, as it's bound to be a lot shorter now.

I couldn't see it doing 4 in a row, but even so, what a dreadful shame that we will never know. Incredible horse, and an incredible record at Cheltenham.
