Sensible World of Soccer had a management game, and I loved it. There were a couple of other football management series which I tried. The LMA one and one which I cant remember the name of, but you got to build the stadium too. If only that was in the Football Manager series too.

For me, the best will have to be Championship Manager 2

I remember creating a dream team at Barcelona on CM 97/98. But my best spell was manager of Glasgow Rangers. Marco Negri was FLAIR, and I got Guseppi Signori on a FREE to partner him. Between them they would ALWAYS guarantee at least FIFTY goals a season

Hate to be annoying but genuinely the most fun I ever had was on CM ITALIA. Me and my brother ruled the Serie A for about 12 seasons with Inter and Roma respectively.
