Carlisle's Keiren Westwood has joined Coventry for £500k - possibly going up as high as £750k.

If that is the current climate I doubt we could expect much for our rising stars like Elphick and Lynch.

That does seem cheap. How long did he have left on his contract? That is surely the key with transfer negotiations.

Westwood has a decent reputation, but the best keeper I saw last season was Mark Bunn of Northampton.

Brilliant shot stopper, very confident on crosses, dominates the six yard box AND makes time to wind up the away fans.

Infuriating when you're losing to them, but you'd LOVE him if he was on your side.
