Best Keeper, Fav Keeper.

On the day we sign a keeper, who is your best and fav keeper over the years.
Ive been going since the late 70's and like most on here, seen dozens over the years. Kuipers has a special place in my heart after all the misery years, but i think the best ive seen is between Joe Corrigan and Ben Roberts. Personal fav is John Keeley though.

Perry Digweed was very underated, top class shot stopper. Just prone to flapping a bit at crosses.

Geoff Sidebottom is a good call, but I preferred Peter Grumitt, both of them were top keepers.

I always liked John Keeley, even went to one of his goal keeping courses. I did like Digweed, Rust and Ormerod. And though he only made a few appearances I liked Tony Meola, but I think that was because he was american, and american football players in england were quite rare at the time.

Beeney and Roberts are the best 2 that I have seen at the Albion.

Kuipers has to be one of my favourite keepers though.
