The Excel equivalent on Open Office is shocking. Sorry.

Nothing to do with compatibilty but the time is takes to open and calculate complex complex workbooks in its native format.

Gave it a chance, but it's a donkey.

I'm not a huge Microsoft fan, but their express versions of their expensive software are great.

I couldn't be without SQL express. Why anyone would bugger about with the disgrace that is Access is beyond me.
