First six games under GP, W4 D1 L1 GF11 GA5 GD6. Last five games under RDZ, W3 D1 L1 GF 14 GA8 GD6. Remarkable really, after such an amazing start, then all the upheaval of Potter leaving, that any win today will mean we are in the best form of the season so far, with more goals scored and better goal difference. UTA.

There’s literally no relevance in those stats though is there. At least compare with the same players / squad available. RDZ last 10 vs Potters last 10 with us ?

Ill be getting on board the RDZ hype train for sure once we beat Bournemouth & Palace

Of course the stats are relevant in terms of our recent form this season. Let’s be honest, most of us thought our season had been completely derailed after making the best Premier League start in our history before GP left.

Wow I wasn’t really thinking relative to other teams, but there we are second, with some more winnable games coming up. Hopefully Brentford drop points next weekend at Arsenal. UTA.

Whoaaaa! Hold on here. Last 5: Saints, Arsenal, Everton, Leicester, Bournemouth. Exclude any team in relegation zone and you have P2 W0 D1 L1.

We are getting way ahead of ourselves. It is great that we are actually beating crap teams - a bogey that was a leading cause of staying in bottom 6 for 3 seasons - but the acid test comes in the 5 successive League games games from mid March: Man U; Brentford; Spurs; Chelsea; Man City with a possible 6th round cup tie against one of those 5 and rearranged Newcastle match, interspersed between the League games. If still on 1.7 ppg after that, Europe should be shoo in and top 4 possible.

Albion are doing well, but don't let's delude ourselves.

All true and long way to go and all that and yes we’ve been racking up wins against the bottom 10 - or rather the entire bottom 7 clubs recently which is a welcome change (Leeds, West Ham, Saints, Bournemouth. Everton, Wolves, Leicester) but Albion have also beaten “the top 6” Liverpool (twice) , Man Utd. Chelsea , and Arsenal as well this season

Let’s call it instead in this topsy turvy season that “mid table lot” that are proving tough or we haven’t played yet ( the likes of Villa, Brentford, Fulham, Palace, Newcastle). A few wins against them and who knows …starting with this Saturday.

To be fair, with Arsenal and City stuttering, if we don't win the league this year then Dezerbi, Barber and Bloom all need to go.
