Peter Taylor didn't have a '1st or 2nd' did he?He was only here once.[/QUOTE

No there was 2 different Peter Taylors the first produced a reasonable side but didn't win anything so cannot see how he could be rated the best. In fact I think the 2nd one was a better manager for us, although he did bring in Junior Lewis

Mullery, two promotions, great football, great run in the League cup with victories over Ipswich and West Brom, chucking coins at Palace, the man is a legend. If Gus gets us up again, he will match him. Honourable mentions to Steve Gritt for saving the club from non league football and probable oblivion; Mickey Adams for rebuilding the club and giving us our pride back, plus a great and entertaining side; Pat Saward for taking us up on a shoestring in '72. The others...well they gave it their best shot.

May not have the "trophies" but built the foundations that took the Albion to the promised land

I love Mullers,of course I do,but what did he do at the other clubs he went to

He has alot to thank Peter Taylor for,as we all did back then

Sorry- did edit it, though! ( there WERE 2 of 'em, I meant to say. I suspect you did too.)

Peter Taylor the 2nd,was an abject manager, inheriting afine team from Mickey Adams

Under him the football bordered on negativaity

For example if we scored he'd go very defensive

Wouldn't be in my top 5
