I went for The Real Food Company although there is very little to choose from between the above

IF the cafe in Little Brunswick Street West was still open (and it's a big and very sad IF) that would win

god I miss that place

The Dorset? I think that's the only place I've had them in Brighton.

Best - Big Nicks Burger Joint Upper West Side Manhattan

The Fatherland
Cake on Blatchington Road used to do a great EB dish. Sadly it has bitten the dust.

The Atlas Lounge have it on their menu but don't do breakfasts during the week

what the f***?

They suggested an alternative of asparagus hollandaise with a poached egg and they have ham/ bacon dishes on their regular menu

again, what the f***?

bet the asparagus is that tasteless peruvian crap as well

Harry's in Hove.

I shall try that this week - their breakfasts are excellent but I must report that I was slightly disappointed by their much vaunted liver and bacon - somewhat insipid gravy and a tad overcooked

They do them in there and they're quite nice but sadly that place is run by awful arrogant tossers who have not heard of the word service outside the context of a tennis match.

Two mates and I waited 50 minutes for a fry-up in there once - there were about another 3-4 people in there on a quiet Sunday morning. After 30 mins (!) of waiting, we complained and got a FREE coffee which we drank straight away.

When we took the service charge off, some large, awful, fearsome hag with frankly unhygenic hair emerged LOUDLY to take issue with this, "we're not a fast food restaurant y'know!" she trumpeted - "you can say that again" etc etc. I have only been there under duress since.
