Why on earth can't pork scrtchings just taste of errr . . . pork? I mean isn't that the beauty of them, that marvellous earthy porky flavour?

If you really demand any other false flavouring go and buy a packet of crisps.

I don't get pork scratchings, probably the worst thing ever sold in a crinkly packet.
I don't like eating the skin of cooked animals though, the texture doesn't agree with me.
Must be a phobia, or just because they taste like shit.

I love a good scratching. Not keen on added flavours. Love the ones you find in a pack that have the softer, salty stuff before the hard crackling. Heaven. Although I have made myself quite bilious when eating them with a hangover. Most brands seem fine. As long as it’s not the porky puff things. They are just odd.

Up and Coming Sunny Portslade
Brighton Sausage Company, also sold in The Foghorn. Absolutely outstanding with a good beer.

Snaffling Pig, Colman’s flavour. Thread closed :p

So disappointed with that one, it was vile. Others are good although although they’re more puff type than traditional crunchy ones. As a brand, SP are brilliant though. Nicks a natural marketer and workaholic. Deserves his success. Nice guy too.
