Personally I've been impressed with both of them after watching them against us and then in the Play-offs.

Both young, determined, score goals and have real potential.

Only problem is that they're with Prem clubs.

What do the great & the good on NSC think? Would they be worth pursuing? Would there be a realistic chance of getting them?

....at least it'll make a change from Akinde

If Hudds go up they will surely get first opportunity to re-sign them on loan? Don't think either is likely to be available to buy just yet.

Surely if there was any chance of them dropping down they would be going to their current club Huddersfield. Would agree either would be worth taking a chance on as a loan move in the Championship. More so than Wood.

Danny Ward is a good shout, he was excellent for Swindon the season before.

Yeah, always likely they'll continue with Hudds if they beat the Posh. I know what you mean about some Championship experience, but I think they could both hit that level. I think Afobe is still 18 & his spell with Hudds is his first taste of league action. Not bad considering.

Now the fake Dons have crashed out, I'm almost leaning towards Posh to win just to see if we can nip in and nab one or both of them.

Afobe played really well against us and was a handfull. If that was typical performsance from him I would like us to sign him on loan next season but other reports suggest that it wasnt and that he didnt impress at Huddersfield.

Unfortunately (for us) it was his stand-out performance for Hudds so far according to a mate of mine - still rates him highly for a (very) young player though.

I would love it so so much if we signed Afobe. Arsenal rate him very highly. Fingers crossed we might grab him on loan next year.

Both of them are too good for League 1. Both still under 20 as well so i think they will both go out on a season long loan to a Champ team next season. Afobe is a quick, powerful and clever footballer. Personally I don't think he'll ever be a 20 goal a season guy (will still grab a few) but sets up a hell of a lot of chances. Ward is excellent. Comfortable on the ball with both feet, good crosser, runs at defenders and has a very powerful left foot shot on him. Obviously i'm hoping they will be coming back to us next season but if we dont go up (please God no!!) both of these would be an excellent addition to your squad.

Afobe looked really good against us, but I thought he looked garbage in those 2 play-off games.
