Two footed + mid twenties + Championship experience + available on a free means he ticks a lot of the 'right boxes' that you'd expect the club would want. Stats through from last season tell a slightly different story, Pringle scored 3 goals and made 7 assists in 40 league appearances (3250 minutes) . Sam Baldock who was played out of position and mostly in the same position as Pringle managed same number of goals and 4 assists in 20 appearances (1537 minutes).

Baldock can't play central on his own though.

I prefer him wide and think he was growing into the role
