Bell End

Sorry if this has been done already but.....

Remember earlier this year Man C. were running a poll to suggest names for one of the stands at their new stadium, which they wanted to name after one of their great players.

So everyone was going on their site and voting for the "Bell End". Now I've heard that that was by far the most popular choice, but for obvious reasons they declined to use that name, going with the runner up. Apparently on hearing this Colin Bell threw a paddy, and has now broken off any contact with the club. Can anyone confirm??

apparantly maure fans were blamed for voting for bell en masse

There was an article in FHM or Maxim about David Seaman where he mentioned this and said that he'd love to hear a Tv/Radio announcer say 'Here comes Seaman out of the Bell End'.

i read last week that they've changed their minds and are going to name it after him. it was in the evening standard.
