Is it me, but has the average price been hiked during the World Cup/Summer.

At one place I have even had to pay £3 for a pint of Harveys whilst in town.

I only ask this due to the other conversation about Mangers being over priced.

Landlord at my local actaully put the prices DOWN during the games. Special rate until the first goal. Almost fell out with him on Saturday when he put the prices back up for extra time despite no goals being scored. Claimed the offer was only for the 90mins.

My local were doing 4 pint jugs for the price of 3 pints for the duration of the England games. I brought one just before the penalties started no questions or looking at the clock.

Having said that I wouldn't be suprised if some of the larger town pubs put up the prices.

Can't say i've noticed the prices too much but as you know Dover i only have the one anyway.
