Watched some goals thing on Sky the other night and it had Beck's halfway line lob against Wimbledon and some bloke said watch his standing foot as he follows the shot through...and its very odd!
He sometimes does it to this day (although not many pics on the net prove this apart from the one below) with crosses/free-kicks, basically his when his right foot folllows through his left foot bends at a 90degree angle meaning his ankle is touching the ground and his leg is all bendy like up until it goes back to a standing position! Bloody odd but could explain why he does sometimes get great swerve on free-kick shots!
His lob one showed his ankle firmly touching the grass, might try re-inacting it tonight...so I may be off work with a broken foot tomorrow
