Bridcutt doesn't count then? Ridiculous - he's arguably our best player wins more than his fair share of challenges in midfield, but because he's on a different part of the pitch, holding off his challenge doesn't count - come off it.

Still, Miller was up against Bridcutt, the size difference in that especially when Bridcutt was playing centre back for the last 10.
Makes no difference, Bridcutt was there to do a job, sure AEA is more physical, but Bridcutts presence is not to be under-estimated and also Greer was there and Miller lost him, fairly easily. When the balll bounced off Dobbie and CMS for the upteenth time towards the end we were just crying out for somebody with a bit of physique. It comes to something when our biggest aerial threat is Ashley Barnes.
To be honest, I'm still really hacked off after yesterday. We have a real lack of imagination in the team. Hammond and Bridcutt are more holding style of players for me, Crofts bombs forward a bit more, but primarily also is more of a holding sort.
He was playing out of position.
You can't compare how a striker is good enough because he gave Bridcutt a bit of a run around..
Emile Heskey would have been a great physical presence, shame we never got him.
Murray is what we need. And we all know who f***ed that up...
Have to agree with you. Biggest screw-up this club has probably ever made. If Murray had been with us last season we'd have made the playoffs. This season we'd be in the top two.
We have the answer in BUCKLEY.
People keep saying that, and people are wrong.
People keep saying the same old things time and time again. "We all know who let Murray go", "We need a big targetman", blah blah blah. It's boring, REALLY boring now. Nobody seems to have anything new to say. Even the same names are being bandied around all the time.
Whilst I think selling Murray was a mistake I think to say it's the biggest screw ever up might be slightly overexaggerating? Selling a controlling interest in the club to Bill Archer might dwarf that decision by about a million percent I'd say.

So are we saying play two strikers up front and change the current formation?
