DENTSPLY - Christ - I used to work there in the eighties - pub round corner on the lewes road had proper entertainment at lunchtimes

Ah, that would be The Ship, used to save up my dinner money to go in there, even then i could only afford 50p when they passed the pot around

I lived up the end near the shop on the corner of Natal road which was opposite the "Haunted house"
