The best one in the whole of Sussex is Camber, bar none.

I also like Cuckmere Haven

Unfortunately, both are long way from me now

I got smashed on the Eastbourne Pier with an Aussie bird when I was on holiday in the Old Country last year. Can't remember the name of that bar upstairs, but I've got good memories of the place! Sure, it's no big deal to locals, but to get Boddingtons at a reasonable price rather than the ridiculous amounts I pay for it here is a real luxury to me. So I spent big on the Boddies everywhere I went when in the UK. Also, what's with the lack of bouncers in Eastbourne pubs, unless I was just lucky?

I find Eastbourne to be an above average town (too many old folks there for my liking), but getting hammered on the Pier and walking along the coast pissed out of your mind at night can't be beaten. Almost as good as the Perth beaches in that respect. Almost.

Camber Sands is a lovely beach, went there in 1995, it is quiet and laid back. It is only just in Sussex, near Rye. It had a Pontins, and a mini Arcade, when I was there. My family ended up camping in a unused field near Rye. I would love to go back there one day, have not been there since 1995.

I remember going to the Camber Sands Pontins, must have been in about 1993, lovely beach indeed!

Camber is the best beach in the county, but Seaford Bay is good enough for me.
