whose ariel abilities are a constant threat from any set piece.

Does that mean he's particularly good at washing whites at low temperatures?

I’m glad you’d rather nit pick mistakes than comment on the actual post as a whole. This is the reason the recently registered rarely post on here.

Please let me off, it was my first post.

Only joking EF :) all new posters welcomed apart from argumentative Palace fans.

Butters is a cult hero and on his way to becoming an Albion legend.:clap2: Maybe not quite of the Ward/Lawrenson/Zamora status, but I'm certain there'll always be a special place in our history for him (particularly after he sat his substantial arse on the play off trophy and bent it).

Pedantic footnote. this is England. Guy is a centre back :p
Eh? That's what he said! It's not as if he called him a defensive tackle or something.

Ah the spelling. 'Fraid I always use American spellings, and it's not an affectation (like some people cross 7's) as in computer software the British spellings aren't recognised. I taught myself to always use American spellings - that way I don't make any typos.

Crossing 7's is not an affectation  :p

It isn't if you write your 4s and 1s the continental way, but if you write a '1' as a single perpendicular line then I'm afraid, yes, it is.

Now look what we've gone and done. We've ruined Mrs Butters' thread about Guy's award by having a discussion on spelling and writing styles. Sorry Mrs B, won't happen again!

Actually Edna it wasnt his 'substantial arse' that sat on the play off trophy and broke it. It was was dropped on the dressing room floor (and anyone who has seen Charlies DVD would have seen it go for a burton). It was said as joke by the lads........but thats the beauty of knowing fact from fiction :lolol:

Well they covered Kelly Holmes' award on the local news but bugger all about Guy.

They also showed the "Souths" top team Chalrton's goal against Palace.

And that was all

Errm. For the entire time I've used computers the three major office packages (of the era, I know they're not anymore)- Microsoft, Lotus, Claris - ALL had English (GB) spellcheckers. The latter two even had English (GB) GUI translations

Everything has real English spellchecking these days. So you can revert from retardo-spelling to real spelling.

Surely that way you make lots of typos? See above...
Sorry, I should have said in code. Various computer languages have rejected spellings like centre, colour and totalling, sometimes with just a cryptic error, so to be safe I always try to use the American spellings whenever I'm typing.
