Was this what the 'Brighton in links with Le Harve' thing was about?

Congratulations to Guy Butters.

One of the best center backs in recent years! Finding a replacement for Simon Morgan was always going to be a challenge, and many believed Butters to be nothing more than a panic buy.

He was poor in his first season with us, but given his age and more importantly the fact he hadn’t attended ANY pre-season training I think he did remarkably well. He certainly proved any doubters wrong by winning the subsequent player of the year award.

A hard tackling, professional center back whose ariel abilities are a constant threat from any set piece.

Well done on winning the Sea France Footballer of the year, thoroughly deserved.

Eaton Frog.

Presumably that's the BBC South East version (the one that covers Kent rather than Hampshire)?

Firstly because Guyves Du Beurres used to play for Gillingham so they'd know him anyway, and secondly because if it had been BBC South(ampshire) there would have been at least 25 people in front of Guyves for the award.

Here, exclusively, are the contenders for the BBC South(ampshire) Sports Personality of the Year, this year and every year.
