Despite Late Kick-Off's claim that this was "an exclusive press tour" that they were "invited to join," what happened was that Tony Millard was going along to check on ISDN line fittings in the press room. Paul Hayward and I were at Falmer for Charlie Oatway's book launch, as were Andy Steggall and a BBC cameraman, and Martin Perry asked if we'd like to tag along. Needless to say ....
