Yep....only the two you mention would have made it a priority to get some players who can mix it up in this division, who have been there and got the t shirt. Ok Crofts on paper was a good signing. But what with injuries coupled with a lack of confidence/form, he hasn't been a shadow of his former self. Said from the first day we got in this league, we need a PROVEN CHAMPIONSHIP striker, 20 months on he spends £2million on a Argie who came out of the 2nd div in Spain. Now he may well turn out to be the real deal, but he does not know THIS LEAGUE which is vital.
