Don't see why people think we'd accept 500k. Centre backs are in their prime aged 28-32. He is 30 (or 31? I dunno, but not old). 500k in the bank would be f***ing useless to get in a replacement. When will people get it in their heads, ANY key player in a team with aspirations of a play-off push is £1m, MINIMUM. You can't be serious about challenging for promotion if you let any bunch of wankers with 750k lying about come in and cherry pick your key men. Greer is club captain and first pick centre back. He could be 41 for all I care, it's his role in the team we'd be selling, not his birth certificate. 100k is an absolute embarassment, so to learn it's less than that is even worse. Barnsley should pipe down because that bid is a joke and I hope TB didn't even consider it worthy of a response. Not even a no, just send to trash and block sender.

Decent on the floor but a shambles when it comes to winning headers. If you cant win headers as a centre half you definitely need to be shit hot on the floor. Nowhere near the best centre half in the championship, 500k max taking his age into account too IMO
