There were riots back in the early 90's but all that had been resolved and everyone was getting along reasonably nicely although of course there was the terrible incident of 8 members of one family getting fire bombed and dying within a mile of where I lived.

Were the firebombers map about a mile out per chance?

Well I am glad that you think it is a joke that several young Asian children lost their lives through petrol bombs being hurled through their windows.

A woman I work with voted BNP because she was upset that the local red cross shop could not put xmas cards in the window because it might upset some one from a different faith.

Its that sort of PC crap that feeds the far right as a reaction to the unfairness. The PC lobby have turned "tolerance" into "we musn't upset for any reason", but forget that you just shift the grievence to another group. If we can get back to simple basic tolerance, the BNP would find their support shrink to a few nutters.

I heard a hilarious piece on the radio when I was driving the other day (missed the programme as had engagements). Reacting to when one of his members said he wanted "to kill all the f***ing Pakis" Griffin claimed it was underhand tactics like those used in the show that misrepresented the party. How exactly was "killing Pakis" misrepresented? He said it for f***'s sake Griffin, you ****.

THE XMAS THING AND OXFAM WAS ANOTHER LIE PUT ABOUT BY THE MEDIA PEDDLING THEIR OWN MESSAGE THAT CHRISTIANALITY ETC, OUR OLD WAYS ARE DISAPEARING UNDER THE MOSLEM ONSLAUGHT, ASYLUM TIDE.

DID YOU OR HER GO TO OXFAM AROUND XMAS? WHAT DID YOU SEE? LOADS OF XMAS ITEMS!!! ITS THEIR BUSIEST TIME OF THE YEAR!! ITS A CHRISTIAN ORGANISATION TARGETING POVERTY AROUND THE WORLD. NEARLY ALL THEIR STAFF ARE WHITE AND GREAT GO-GOODERS. I WISH PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY WOULD SWITCH THEIR ******* BRAINS ON AND THINK ABOUT THE CRAP THEY READ, RATIONALISE IT INSTEAD OF FALLING FOR EVERY RACIST LIE AFTER LIE.

ON ANOTHER POINT PARTLY RELATED TO YORKIE'S POST AND ON A SUBJECT I HAVE POSTED ON MANY TIMES BEFORE.

IF THE BLACKS ETC ARE THE PROBLEM THEN WE WOULD EXPECT MAJOR PROBLEMS IN LONDON, WHERE OVER 25% OF ALL OF THE POPULATION ARE BLACK AND OTHER ETHNIC MINORITIES. AMAZINGLY ENOUGH! LONDON IS IN TERMS ODF DIFFERENT RACES, RELIGIONS WORKING AND LIVING TOGETHER IS THE MOST HARMINOUS PLACE IN THE UK PERHAPS THE WORLD.

WE HAVE NO GHETTO'S, NO BLACK AREAS OR SOLID WHITE AREAS. WE AS A POPULATION RESPECT EACH OTHER, USE DIFFERENT ETHNIC SHOPS, SHARE IDEAS ETC.

IT WORKS.

IN HACKNEY OVER HALF THE POPULATION ARE FROM DIFFERENT ETHNIC MINORITIES AND BOY DO WE HAVE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC PROBLEMS. IN BRIGHTON TERMS TAKE WHITEHAWK, MOUSCOMBE, EAST BRIGHTON AND STRETCH IT TO A POPULATION OF 225,OOO FOR AN EQUAL COMPARISON.

WE HAVE GREAT PEOPLE FROM ALL RACES AND WE HAVE A MINORITY OF WANKERS. BUT GUESS WHAT NO BNP. THE SCUM BAGS WOULDN'T DARE SHOW THEIR SEEDY, DISGUSTING, NAZI, ILL THOUGHT OUT AND THOUGHT THROUGH FACES AND IDEAS AROUND HERE OR ANYWHERE WITHIN ANY PART PART OF LONDON WITH A MIXED POPULATION.

He was saying that this one individual's views were not representative of the party as a whole and basically saying that the BBC had an easy job in focusing on one or two nutters (that he believed could have been nudged into the party by anti-facist group Searchlight, who then tipped off the BBC that these people would be fair game if they could get footage on them and thus discredit the party). No matter what you think of the BNP the BBC were never going to have a hard job doing a number on them with a selective and heavily edited documentary. I shouldn't imagine that that geezer with the dog who provided the foot in the door to the BNP for the beeb will be sleeping too easily in his bed.

As I say, I didn't actually watch it, have just seen clips, but wasn't the bloke going on about killing Asians an elected councillor representing the BNP? Surely if he is a member of the party and holds such a role then his views can be taken, to a degree, as the underlying thoughts of a lot of the party and if not then the BNP need to constuct a far better vetting policy very quickly or they will be stitched up at evey turn by Searchlight.

If I am right (and if I'm not and he was just a party memeber then ignore my posts) then as a representative he speaks for the party.

Having said that, the Tories' selection policy for councillors came under quite intense scrutiny this week after events in Kent....

Given that the Liberal's keep the faith in Bellotti, Labour would not know the truth if it sat on Tony Blair's face, and the Tories still oppose decimilisation there is no hope for us all unless we vote for the FALMER party

Reckon it's quite a good move. I think it would be far better if those scum went bankrupt, rather than being banned, which would just make them martyrs. I find it thoroughly offensive that good Muslim colleagues of mine should be branded as trying to "islamophise" the West, when in fact they are just working their guts out to provide for their families like most others. The sort of remarks their members make can only encourage attacks on people because of their colour. I think LC is right, London is more tolerant, incidents such as the Stephen Lawrence murder apart, and all the richer for its mix of people. At the same time, I do think that it is double standards if the likes of Griffin were to be arrested, when Hamza was allowed to spout his anti-Western bile for so long. If his followers take up his suggestions and let off bombs, regardless of what views they hold. Speaking of Beorthelm's point, though, I think there could be a little more tolerance of others' views on here. As a Christian, I have never tried to ram my faith down other people's throats, but I felt the ridicule Yorkie got on the discussion that was on here recently when she defended her faith was way out of order.
